Meet our Speakers:
James Kellett - James is the Founder and CEO of Spot Ship, a SAAS platform bringing the world of shipbroking into the 21stCentury. The company makes use of next generation computer vision and machine learning algorithms to channel data into a robust cloud SQL database. A broker using Spot Ship can fix a charter in minutes, as opposed to the days required with incumbent technology. Optimal ship selection through the platform is expected to cut 90Mt of CO2 emissions annually and save the supply chain $25bn.
James has led Spot Ship since inception through three financing rounds and grown the global team to 60. Prior to Spot Ship, James spent six years as an investment analyst at the equity hedge funds Orbis and RWC, before leading the partnerships function at the unicorn Improbable.
James holds an INSEAD MBA, an MA degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge and a CFA designation.
Lena Rantsevich - a serial entrepreneur, ex-C-level executive, TEDxYouth speaker, business consultant and founder of Reputy.io: a Talent Wallet for equitable skills-first hiring replacing the old-school CV. Lena is developing the concept of Human Renaissance (H ∞ R) – a philosophical movement that aligns with the tenets of Humanism and Techno-Optimism and celebrates the symbiosis of human ingenuity and technological innovation.
